Good Things Take Time!
Barriers, Ballots & Beyond is a nationwide mixed-methods research initiative focused on the 4.5 million new voters entering the 2026 Bangladesh National Election. The project identifies structural, economic, and socio-cultural obstacles faced by the most marginalized youth populations, including Indigenous, Dalit, Bihari, and Tea Garden communities.
I spearheaded the foundational phase of the project by authoring the comprehensive Project Proposal and Financial Budget. I developed a detailed Work Plan that synchronized multi-regional field operations across 8 divisions of Bangladesh. My focus was on ensuring all activities remained strictly aligned with the strategic governance goals of the UNDP and YPF.
As one of the primary point of contact for the project, I managed communications and reporting. I organized and moderated the Stakeholder Consultation sessions, where I facilitated critical dialogue between government representatives, civil society, and youth from marginalized backgrounds.
I oversaw the operational execution of the project, including the coordination of a nationwide mixed-methods survey that successfully reached 584 youth across 7 distinct marginalized groups. Beyond data collection, I moderated the Policy Brief Launching Event, managing the transition of research findings into a finalized, high-impact advocacy document for national policy-makers.
